Therese is an experienced moderator, both onstage and online. She has chaired discussion forums and conducted one-on-one guest interviews for a variety of literary organizations. Therese appears regularly at writer conferences across North America.

New Releases: Mesdames of Mayhem Anthologies
When: 2020 and 2022
In 2020 and 2022, Therese joined the all-Canadian writers’ collective Mesdames of Mayhem in two of their popular anthologies. Her short story “Boom Town Shakedown” appeared in Grave Diagnosis and “The Iron Princess” appeared in The Spirit of Thirteen, both short crime fiction anthologies from Carrick Publishing.

Memoir Writing Workshop, Fort McMurray

Therese will be conducting a memoir-writing workshop designed for those who want to tell their stories of the 2016 wildfire. The workshop will also be of interest to any new writer who wants to tell a personal story. Presented free of charge as part of Alberta Culture Days, thanks to the generosity of the Writers Guild of Alberta, the Wood Buffalo Arts Council, the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo, and The Wood Buffalo Regional Library. Therese will be among the guest authors at the 2019 edition of the Expo. Book sales and signing. In the morning of the event, will do a reading and Q&A and will also present a one-hour workshop Finding the Words: Writing Your Memoir designed to help any new writer navigate the first steps in the writing process with practical tips and inspiration to help commit to writing in a judgement-free environment.
